They welcome competition with Great Spirit and believe that they will compete with others fairly. Therefore, they always look themselves as a match foe for their competitor. CONDITION OF INDONESIAN NAVY NOW

Condition of Indonesian Navy now is very disappointing. There are so many problems that almost unbearable. There are so many ideas as well that expressed by lot of experts, but there are no effective solution that accomplish these problems profoundly.

As an Indonesian Navy fan, I want to give my opinion to the reader of this my own website.

1. As we all know, the main factor that make some country gets honor from other countries is sea power. Because of that fact, paradigm that our country is agriculture country has to be changed. Without stopping the growth of agriculture sectors, we have to start now or as soon as possible to explore and exploit our sea sources. To develop economic benefit of exploration and exploitation of Indonesian sea, it is irrevocable the present of navy power. So, we should change the policy of government and parliament. Base on publication of newspaper about one week ago, the fund from defense department for navy is around Rp 5 trillions. Of course, it is not enough. While the budget for the army is around Rp 16 trillions. From this fact we are able to conclude that our country still land oriented. Maybe just a lip service when our government said that our policy in the future is sea oriented. We have to remember that our country is archipelagic state. As an archipelagic state, we must understand profoundly about many sources that available in the sea, strait, bottom of the sea, and under water. Fishing, mining, rigging, and tourism are many kinds of example that we are able to augment as the benefit of archipelagic country. By this statement, hopefully you are going to understand how important safety in the sea is. We have to defend our sea territory also from the annoyance of our neighbors, especially in the border area. In conclusion, the plan in divide fund from the defense ministry must to be changed. Navy need to get more money to build power of sea that adequate to make safe the running of sea development.

2. Second factor in improving navy power is reformation in the Indonesian Navy itself. Corruption, collusion, and nepotism have to be finished. From little finance that our Navy gets, we should use it as smart as possible.

3. The next factor is increasing the quality and mentality of Navy member. Health competition and good management are two things that should to be practiced in the arrangement of navy crew career. There must be available the rule to make the competition in getting promotion and achievement run properly.

By my three opinions above, I assure you if these methods practiced completely, Indonesian Navy is going to be powerful force that able to guard our territorial sea and bargain power with our neighbor.

• Almost 75% of Indonesian Navy officer was graduated from Indonesian Naval Academy. So, Indonesian Naval Academy is the main sources of Indonesian Navy officer. There is 5 corps in the Indonesian Naval Academy. They are operation, engineering, electrical, supply, and marines. First posting of graduated Indonesian Naval Academy officers usually is at the Indonesian war ships.

• Second source of Indonesian Navy officer is bachelor who enrolls to Indonesian Navy sincerely. From this source besides 5 corps above, there is another corps. Specialized officer for instance Chaplain, military advocate, doctor, and lot of teachers usually graduated from this program.

• The last source is NCO who passes every test to be officer. Indonesian Navy gives opportunity for NCO by this program. From this program usually become officer appropriate with their specialization before they become officer. For example, if she or he was CIC or bridge crew automatically he or she becomes operation corps officer.

As we all know, after 1998 chaos, Indonesia started to build better democracy in every sector. Like most country in the world, Indonesian chooses their leader and senate directly and freely. Although, there are some mistakes in conducting general election, maybe it is the best way to develop our country started by develops our democracy at first.

Because of unprepared well and there are many problems about economic and government system, the first general election held in 1999, is full of cruelty, crimes and many others that arise as the side impact. However, commission of election or KPU already made good rules about how to conduct campaign, express our supporting, lot of people persist downed to street to fulfill their spirit in supporting their party. Because of that fact, lot of people felt uncomfortable. So many people avoid going anywhere because they are anxious of supporter of parties. Furthermore, many crimes happened at this time, when the campaign was held. Lot of shops and factories closed for that moment because of vandalism and grimaces of the supporter of one party.

Because of that reasons that I have mentioned above, we have to prepare next general election conscientiously and scrupulously. Firstly, I am going to talk about commission of general election rules. Commonly known, this organization is the major player in conducting general election in our country. Their responsibilities are very important, so they have to have higher authorities than all of participants. As the result, they will produce the best rules without disturbing from external side.

Secondly, I would like to give comment about security and defense of government. Although the general election is representative of free expression, people can not do everything that will make chaos. It is responsibility of government to punish who act crime, vandalism and etc. Breaking the law must be handled by strict rule although in general election time.

Relationship is needed by everyone. We are human. A human is social creature. As a social creature, we need help from others. Because of the fact, everyone tries to build relation with other. By relations that have been built by us, we are going to get some help. In this case, not only get helping from our relations, but also we have to give helping to our relations when they need.

In this essay, I would like to write some methods to get friends and maintain our friendships. First, please open yourself. Do not be introvert person. Show who you are and let others see inside you. Of course not everything is public consume, but do not close yourself from another’s sight. If you are a mysterious one, people will get trace base on their opinion and guess. People frequently wrong in judge others by first sight. So, please show your mind, idea, believe and dream.

Secondly, do not judge others by your glasses. Judge everyone wisely because everyone has their own thinking. True in our mind is not always right in another’s point of view. You must understand the background of your friend. If there are differences between you and friend, do not make it wider and bigger. Better if you avoid this difference and try to distract to another topic. If the difference is very principle, please control yourself and try to be democratic one. If you are a decision maker, make the decision as clear as possible to make clear who one in different side with you but do not confront them, just be careful and watch out if they do some tricky method. You have to straight and again all your enemy totally. Do not hesitate because of having enemies. Never try to make every one satisfy with you, although you have done the best thing.

The third guidance to get good relationship is trust building. Do not spread the secret of your friend. You must keep the privacy of your relation. You must make other enjoy besides you. Please become trustful one.

The next ideas to make good relationship are teamwork and help our relation sincerely. In every relation there are taking and giving. Sometime we get something from our friend, but we have to help our friend if they need our help. Do not be egoistic and opportunistic one. How much you get depend on how much you give. Giving is not only material, but also advice and attention. We have to care about the problem of our friend. Never ignore what their complaint. You must care your friend not only in nice condition, but also sorrow situation.

How to keep our health is the question that very interesting. In this essay, I want to give some method for answering this question. Although, there are so many idea that had been given by lot of experts, but one conceive again is better.

First factor that decide our health is food. We have to choose good food and eat properly because food is main factor of supporting of our body. By food that is eaten by us, we get strength and power to conduct daily activity. But if we eat unhealthy food or food that engenders some illnesses, the foods are the source of disaster and we have to avoid this kind of food, for instance junk food that consists of cholesterol. Many experts believe that grease makes our body fat and the fat stimulate stroke. Better if we choose food that low of grease. Next factor that decide the quality of food is whether this food produce naturally or chemically. Of course we have to choose natural food that free from dangerous stuff. Pesticides usually are used by farmers in the field. Because of the fact, we have to clean every food carefully. Better if we choose food that is produced naturally, but mostly more expensive.

Secondly, we must try to have healthy habitual. Smoking is one example that almost everyone know about risk of this activity. Provoking cancer, heart stroke, and decrease health of the lung are direct impacts of this bad activity. Although the unbeneficial of the smoking has been understood by people, but there are still lot of addict man and women continue this bad activity. For the smoker, we just give advice to stop smoking because there are so many dangerous impacts not only for themselves but also for others. In other hand, someone who is not a smoker, please avoid this habitual and never try it, because cigarette has addictive influence. There are many examples of bad habitual besides smoking, for instance abusing of drug and addiction of alcohol. The core is we have to avoid unbeneficial activities and try to continue useful activities.

Talking about useful activities, we can pick out many things as our hobbies. Sport is very good activity to keep our health. Besides keeping of health, sport makes fresh our mind. Because of that fact, do sport routinely to make fresh your mind and keep your health.

In conclusion, there are only two ways to do healthy life. First, avoid dangerous and bad activity like smoking, abusing of drug, compulsion of alcohol and etcetera. Second, please conduct your life with good habitual like sports. Sport makes fresh both your body and soul.

Indonesia has many problems now. Corruption, collusion and nepotism are main factors that make our country poor. Poverty spreads out around Indonesia entirely. In this essay, I would like to explain Indonesia’s problems and try to give solutions.

Greedy is a main factor that makes people become a corrupter. They do not think and consider the need of others. They just think how to earn money and property without thinking legal or illegal. For them, the needs of others are unimportant and their needs are very important. Because of people like this, poverty still exist and widespread around Indonesia. People who have opportunity and access to corrupt money from state will be very rich man, but citizens who do not have any access to the state will be very poor and live under poverty line.

Still effect of the greedy is nepotism. People who have access to the government will try to pull their families to be part of their colony. Without thinking about quality of their families they will put them to be government employer for instance.

To make safe the illegal activities that they do, collusion is a way. They will share the gain to the others but ask help. Of course, they ask people who have authority and power as their protector. In this case, network and teamwork are very significant aspect.

Three paragraphs above are main problems in our Indonesia. Many experts already gave their statement how to accomplish these problems. But there is no opinion that effective to cut these problems.

Law is the main factor. Lawmaker has to consider everything profoundly. So the result laws that produced are fair and fulfill the sense of justice.

Executor is second step. We need distinct man to execute all the laws. This man has to free from fear and three factors above. Because we are not able to clean the floor with dirty broom.

In conclusion, we have to realize the factors that make our country in difficult condition like now and try to stop its. Secondly we have to start now and from ourselves to make law become real.

In the recent days, we always get lot of publication from both electronic and mass media the story about Munir assassination. The newest is condemnation from Supreme Court to pollicarpus, Garuda pilot when Munir dead. He alleged for many reasons and got twenty year prison custody from the court. There are so many attentions in this case because Munir was human right activist who had given many critics to Indonesian Armed forces. Many people look there are correlation between armed forces interest and this case. In this essay that posted in my personal web, I want to share my pure opinion to the reader.

If we are talking about human right in Indonesia, there are so many untracked conditions. As the effect of misunderstanding about democrat ion, Indonesians think that they are able to do everything freely without limit. As the effect, there are so many chaoses in many places. Demonstrations happen everywhere uncontrolled. Lot of victims fall without benefit. Not only civilians, but also police and military member killed in demonstrations. People become wild like animal and destroy everything. Maybe it is true when we conclude that Indonesia unready yet to be democracy country. Indonesians still do not understand that democracy is not mean free to do everything without responsibility to appreciate right of others. Law must be the supreme decision maker in every condition. When law is crossed, suppression and strict action by government is irrevocable. What is correlation between this story and the title above? Next paragraph will answer this question.

Before 98 reformations, government was handled by Suharto and his crony suppressed all Indonesian with military power, but it proven effective method to stabilize Indonesia entirely. No one is able to deny this fact, although activist. We can compare condition now to condition before 98. If we ask to ordinary citizen, I guarantee you that the answer is condition before 98 was better than now. What is the next correlation?

Munir was one who criticized Indonesian armed forces very hardly and impolitely. He thought that Indonesian Armed forces did not have any merit to our country. He used mass media to make fall the name of Indonesian Armed forces. It was character assassination of one organization. He never thought about the merit of Indonesian soldier who death in the war when Indonesia was struggling to get liberty.

About human right, is there any human right for soldier who conduct their duty in the conflict area, because Indonesian problems are different from US condition. Indonesian soldier war again their nation mate. They do not war again enemy. So, we have to think over about soldier human right as well, besides citizens human right.

The conclusion is not concluding anything. I just guide you to some acknowledgment. Who is the real hero? Is there any hidden motivation or man behind scene in this case? Has Indonesian armed forces reform themselves and stop illegal duty? What is more important between country requirement and human right?
